For the full kitchen remodeling projects we typically take on, homeowners should generally plan for approximately:
$40,000–$70,000+
The final price depends on what we’re actually changing.
Major cost factors include kitchen size, existing conditions, cabinetry, countertops, appliances, layout changes, structural work, plumbing and electrical upgrades, flooring, lighting, backsplashes, finishes, and engineering or permit requirements.
We’ll look at your existing kitchen first so we can discuss a scope and budget that actually relate to your home.
A complete rebuild of your existing kitchen, including cabinetry, countertops, flooring, lighting, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and finishes—with layout improvements where they make sense.
Rework a kitchen that feels cramped or poorly arranged by changing cabinet runs, appliance locations, plumbing, walkways, or the island to make better use of the existing space.
Add the prep space and storage your kitchen is missing with a properly sized island, pantry cabinetry, deep drawers, built-ins, appliance storage, and cabinetry designed around the room.
Remodel the kitchen together with adjoining living and dining areas, flooring, lighting, doors, and other first-floor improvements for a more cohesive renovation.
Every kitchen is different, but a full remodel can involve much more than replacing cabinets and countertops.
If your kitchen has enough square footage but never seems to have enough useful storage, we can rethink how the cabinetry is organized rather than simply replacing what's there.
Depending on your project, this can include:
The goal is to make the space easier to cook, store, prep, and gather in every day.

We can coordinate:
We plan this work with the cabinetry and appliance layout so everything is in the right place before the finishes go in.

A common goal in Aliso Viejo kitchen remodels is creating a better connection between the kitchen, family room, and dining area.
If keeping the same footprint doesn't solve the problem, we can evaluate changing the room itself.
This may include:
Before committing to an open-concept layout, we evaluate the existing structure so we know what can realistically change and what it will take to build it.
Learn MoreOnce the layout, cabinetry, structural work, plumbing, and electrical are in place, we bring the kitchen together with the finishes you'll see every day.
Your remodel may include:
If the kitchen opens into the family or dining room, we also consider how the flooring, lighting, colors, and finishes transition into those spaces so the finished kitchen feels like part of the home—not a separate remodel.
Learn MoreMost complete kitchen remodels we take on require approximately:
6–10 Weeks of Construction
That is the construction period once the project is ready to build.
Before demolition, there may also be time needed for design, engineering, permits, cabinetry, material selections, and ordering. We prefer to get those decisions handled before tearing out the kitchen. It reduces downtime and avoids making expensive decisions halfway through construction.
Many complete kitchen remodels do.
The City of Aliso Viejo requires permits for kitchen remodeling involving work such as removing, replacing, or relocating cabinets and countertops, sinks or dishwashers, new or altered islands, electrical work, and exhaust-hood alterations.
Changing the layout can also require existing and proposed floor plans.
If walls are being removed, framing information may be required to determine whether they’re bearing or non-bearing, and structural engineering may be necessary.
Limited cosmetic work, such as cabinet refacing or countertop replacement alone, may not require a permit.
When permits are required, we can coordinate the applicable plans, engineering, permit process, construction, and inspections for your project.
For most interior kitchen remodels, HOA requirements depend on your specific Aliso Viejo community.
It’s especially important to check with your HOA if the remodel affects the exterior of your home, such as:
The City of Aliso Viejo recommends checking applicable HOA requirements for exterior changes.
If HOA review applies, it’s best to identify it early—before the kitchen design and construction plans are finalized.

We'll meet you at your Aliso Viejo property and walk through the kitchen together. Tell us what you'd change if you could. If you're thinking about removing a wall or moving the island, we'll look at that too.

Once we understand what you're trying to accomplish, we work through the layout, cabinetry, appliances, materials, and construction scope. This is also where we identify structural, plumbing, electrical, or other work created by the new design.

If the remodel requires engineering or City permits, we coordinate those requirements before construction.

We manage the applicable demolition, framing, plumbing, electrical, drywall, cabinetry, countertops, tile, flooring, lighting, painting, fixtures, appliances, inspections, and finish work.

We go through the completed kitchen with you, address final items, and complete the project.
